    Downtown Masters Competitive Program

    Coach:  Emily Chadwell

If you have a desire to attend more practices, race in competitive boats, and improve your power and speed overall, this is the program for you. This team will have a more intense atmosphere during practice; focusing mostly on racing skills.  We encourage all members of VBC in good standing with the program to apply.  The program requires experience, commitment to the Competitive Team, and Coach’s approval.
Regularly scheduled practices are Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 5:45 pm and Saturday mornings at 7:45 at the downtown boathouse. Boats will launch on the hour.  Rowers should always show up regardless of weather conditions unless otherwise notified.  If weather or water conditions are prohibitive, team members will have indoor training and fitness activities.
Participants are expected to sign up by 5 pm each Sunday for the following week on the online program.
The annual program fee is $165. This program is open to both men and women VBC members and subject to coaches approval.
