Coxswain Meeting and Clinic

  • Downtown Boathouse

Are you an experienced VBC coxswain or do you want to learn more about our program? As you probably already know, a coxswain is responsible for everything that happens from the time the boat is picked up and put in the water until it is back in the boathouse after a practice or race. Coxswains are responsible for the safety of the rowers and equipment--they steer the boat, coach technique, and motivate rowers.

Join experienced coxswains for an exciting session to learn more about the goals for the VBC 2013 rowing season and, if you are new, how you can participate. Ask questions and take part in the first clinic of the year. VBC needs you!
